ABOUT CHLOE G.

I’m a Master of Public Health student at Tulane University, where I’m focusing on health inequities and the social determinants of health. As an intern with the Louisiana Center for Health Equity, I am applying my health equity studies and helping effect change in the state of Louisiana. My work is driven by a commitment to equity and community-based solutions to improve health outcomes for underserved children and families. Before beginning graduate study, I served as Community Development Program Manager at the Arkansas Arts Council. I also bring experience in food systems and public health education through my service as a Public Health AmeriCorps member with FoodCorps.I hold a BA in Anthropology and Sociology from Hendrix College, where I explored the intersections of culture, health, and social movements. This foundation, combined with my hands-on experience in both the arts and public health, informs my commitment to designing initiatives that are inclusive, culturally relevant, and sustainable. Now based in New Orleans, I’m excited to deepen my impact through public health research, cross-sector coalitions, and initiatives that center community and families.I am particularly interested in collaborative, equity-driven approaches to improving health outcomes in historically marginalized communities. Let’s explore ways to build stronger, healthier, and more vibrant communities together.
