ABOUT CHLOE BARNABE
Chloe is a fluently bilingual sustainable business professional and strategist currently based in Montreal. She has nearly two decades of management consulting and private sector experience advising and leading corporate sustainability teams and transformations for some of Canada’s most recognized brands in the consumer packaged goods, retail, and transportation sectors. She has a successful track record helping large companies and their suppliers set and implement validated Science-Based Targets on their path to Net-Zero.Over her career, Chloe has developed a deep understanding of evolving environmental, social and governance (ESG) trends, risks, standards, legislation, materiality and disclosure practices in North American, European and East Asian markets and gained first-hand experience operationalizing corporate Sustainability strategies and ESG metrics into successful vendor engagement and sustainable supply chain programs. She has worked alongside companies large and small both directly and through industry associations to scale social impact and environmental performance in Canada and globally. Through her role at EY as the Canadian Consumer Sector Sustainability Leader, Chloe works with a diverse set of consumer brands across the retail, grocery, fashion, apparel manufacturing, telecommunications and financial sectors. Chloe is a creative problem-solver who has advised leadership teams on how to future-proof their business by steering them to overhaul corporate governance policies, upskill their workforce, proactively communicate and engage with key stakeholders, plan transformational decarbonization investments and responsibly market sustainability service, product and packaging innovation.
