I recently qualified for the Freeride World Tour in the 2024 ski season, and my rookie season will be in 2025!The Freeride World Tour is an annual series of competition in which freeride skier and snowboarders travel around the world to compete for individual wins on off-piste terrain: ungroomed snow on steep slopes and high exposure. They are judged on their difficultly, style, fluidity, control, and line choice which cumulates to create their overall score.

ABOUT CHLOE HEHIR
Hello! My name is Chloe Hehir, and I am a senior at the University of Colorado Boulder, pursuing a degree in English with a focus in creative writing, complemented by a minor in evolutionary biology. As an athlete, I have a strong background in competitive sports which has instilled in me discipline, perseverance, and leadership. In 2025 I competed on the Freeride World Tour and had the honor of representing the United States on a world stage. The season taught me to preform under pressure, adapt quickly, and remain committed to long-term goals. As a creative, my interests span fiction, media, and storytelling across multiple mediums. I am currently working on my first book, and hope to create a career as an author in the coming years. I am interested on the intersection of the person and their environment (wether fantastical, historical, or fictional), and how the basis of language and human thought influence our perception of the world. The more visual side of creativity draws my interest as well, and I hope to explore filming, photography, and editing in future years.I am eager to connect with others in the fields of writing, publishing, media, and skiing, and hope to gain experience that will help me grow as a professional in our fast-paced world.
