ABOUT CHLOE GAYER
I am a Drake University alum with a passion for organizing and empowering those who’ve felt unheard or overlooked. My journey began in grassroots politics, leading volunteer teams, organizing statewide initiatives, and navigating complex legislative environments. That work taught me that politics isn’t some distant or abstract force, it’s a world where representatives are meant to serve the people, and government exists for and by the people.But along the way, I also felt a new kind of call, one that led me into ministry. I realized that the same drive that fueled my work in policy and advocacy was the same force pulling me toward the church. It was a commitment to helping people feel seen, valued, and heard. Today, I bring both of those callings together, as a pastor and as an advocate, serving the people of Iowa with both compassion and conviction. Whether in the Statehouse or the sanctuary, I’m dedicated to making sure people’s voices matter and their stories are honored.
