My academic journey at UC Santa Barbara centered on the intersection of environmental science and society, culminating in a B.A. in Environmental Studies and a minor in Professional Writing on the Business Communication track. I graduated with Highest Honors, placing in the top 2.5% of my class, and was proud to receive the Environmental Studies Outstanding Academic Achievement Award in recognition of my dedication and performance in the field. Professionally, my hands-on experience spans federal-level environmental advocacy to luxury hospitality. As an intern at Environment America, a Washington D.C- based nonprofit, I led my own campaign within the federal team, creating content that translated complex issues into compelling messages for both public audiences and policymakers alike. At the Ritz-Carlton Bacara, I supported high-level guest communication and sales as a Guest Relations Specialist, honing creativity, attention to detail, and problem-solving while planning personalized experiences for VIP and high-security guests. Currently, as an Event Specialist with Marriott International, I manage events for up to 200 guests from initial consultation through execution, overseeing contracts, timelines, vendor coordination, and on-site operations. Whether I’m crafting a public-facing campaign or resolving client concerns with care and precision, my work is rooted in clarity and purpose. Outside of work, I share my passion for balance and wellness as a part-time yoga instructor, integrating mindfulness and discipline into all aspects of my life.Looking ahead, I’m driven to build a career in the environmental sector where I can bridge science, policy, and communication to create a more sustainable future for generations to come.
