Responsibilities entail carrying out the social safeguard functions during design and implementation stage; during the planning stage identify, analyze, and mitigate social development risks in directly financed infrastructure projects; analyze the national/state legal requirements regarding all aspects of social standards; development of social risk mitigation plans, consultation strategy; managing collection of primary and secondary data on social, environment, health & safety issues; undertake public consultations and gender consultations; screening & categorization of project/sub-project; preparing the due diligence report and undertake Poverty and Social Assessment (PSA) and gender assessment; preparation of necessary social safeguard documents such as IPSA, SPRSS, resettlement and indigenous peoples plan etc. As a safeguard monitoring expert I have expertise in updating of RP based on the final design, preparation of resettlement monitoring database and system and safeguard monitoring reports including corrective action plan.
