ABOUT CHITRA ACHARYA
I am a computer scientist passionate about reducing medical errors and improving patient safety. My PhD research, Human Computer Interaction (HCI) and Patient Safety, contributed to knowledge - application of basic HCI principles and practices reduced medical errors and improved patient safety.I am a Reconfiguration Project Manager within the Reconfiguration Programme (Strategy and Transformation) at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust.With my lived experience as a carer, I am assisting shape health and care services within Nottinghamshire and at the national level.I have taken on a voluntary role as an NHS App Ambassador - a member of NHS staff who represent a wide range of settings, professions and locations.
