I\'m passionate about the intersection of human and machine intelligence—and how we can use both to solve real-world problems, create inclusive systems, and shape the future of decision-making.Over the course of my career, I\'ve led groundbreaking work in AI and analytics—from building FICO\'s global custom analytics business and introducing industry-transforming solution to advising executives on machine learning strategy and go-to-market execution. Skills I gained from my corporate career - shaping strategic vision, executing with excellence, and mobilizing diverse teams, building communities around common missions to create solutions that leverage the strength of diverse perspectives and skills – are fully leveraged in my current role as the Executive Director of Women in Data Science (WiDS). I’m honored to lead a global community focused on elevating, educating, and empowering women in data science to cultivate the next generation of leaders in the field of data science and AI. We are envisioning a future fueled by an inclusive pipeline of visionary leaders —advancing progress and ethical AI innovation globally.Examples of my contributions include: Pioneering human-guided machine learning which leverage human expertise to accelerate ML processes; this methodology enabled commercial value extraction from big data and was critical to the pursuit of new ventures in new industries/domains. Building and leading FICO’s Analytic Center of Excellence from an idea on paper into a fully functioning, value-added department that sharpened analysis, reporting, and decision-making globally. Developing and launching a research exchange program, “Collaborate to Innovate”, that led to numerous win-win relationships with large FS organizations.
