ABOUT CHIRILLO MALCOLM MAWIEN-DIU
I am an Electrical Engineering graduate with a strong academic and practical background in power systems and power electronics. My final-year project, titled “Design of a Bidirectional Buck–Boost Converter for a Solar PV–Fed Battery System,” focused on integrating power electronics with renewable energy applications, further strengthening my expertise in converter design, control strategies, and energy management systems.Throughout my academic journey, I developed proficiency in engineering tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, SCADA, and PLC for system modelling, simulation, monitoring, and control applications.I gained hands-on industry experience during my internship at Juba Electricity Distribution Company (JEDCO), where I was exposed to electrical power distribution systems and field operations. Additionally, I worked with Drive and Control Systems, Rajkot, India, where I enhanced my understanding of industrial automation, motor drives, and control systems.I am passionate about innovative and technology-driven electrical solutions and am currently open to employment and professional training opportunities in power systems, renewable energy, power electronics, and industrial automation. I am eager to contribute my skills, continue learning, and grow within a dynamic engineering environment.
