ABOUT CHIRAYU RAJPUROHIT

Power Electronics Engineer with a strong background in power conversion, battery systems, and energy storage technologies. Currently working at Generac Power Systems, where I contribute to the development of next-generation residential energy storage solutions, including inverter architecture, simulations, prototype development, and design verification for the PWRcell platform.I hold a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder (GPA: 3.874), specializing in power electronics, digital control of converters, and electrified transportation systems. My professional and research experience spans high-power converters, solar inverters, battery management systems (BMS), and EV charging technologies.Previously, I worked as a Power Electronics Intern at BREK Electronics, where I designed and validated a 16.5 kW DC-DC converter and supported development of a 400 kW SiC-based solar string inverter. Prior to that, I gained extensive industry experience at Exicom Tele-Systems and Emflux Motors, designing battery packs, BMS platforms, EV chargers, and on-board chargers for electric mobility applications. My technical expertise includes power electronic converter design, analog and mixed-signal hardware, PCB design and debugging, battery pack and BMS development, and system-level modeling and control. I regularly work with tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, PLECS, LTSpice, Altium, and KiCAD for simulation, control development, and hardware implementation.I am passionate about advancing clean energy technologies, including renewable energy integration, high-efficiency power conversion, and electrified transportation. I enjoy working at the intersection of hardware design, control systems, and system-level architecture to build reliable and scalable energy solutions.I’m always open to connecting with professionals and researchers working in power electronics, renewable energy, and energy storage systems.
