About Chirayata Bhattacharyya
Currently, a Senior Engineer at Qualcomm working for the Visual-tech ML R&D Team (Camera Systems), building differential ISP pipelines and exploring state-space models in vision.I completed M.Tech in Signal Processing from the EECS division of the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. I am broadly interested in Stochastic Processes, Information Theory and Multimodal Learning.In my first year at IISc, I have been fortunate to receive the IUSSTF-Viterbi Research Fellowship for the summer of 2024, and got to spend a wonderful summer at the University of Southern California working with Prof. Peter Beerel in explainable and efficient machine Learning. Later, I received the Reliance Foundation Postgraduate Scholarship that generously supports the entirety of my M. Tech. I had a brief stint in the flagship PGP programme at IIM Bangalore, owing to a 99.53 percentile in CAT \'21.I am interested in making technology sustainable and socially inclusive.
