However, one of the most defining aspects of my tenure was the opportunity to independently manage a large corporate client with operations across India, Sharjah, and Singapore.Client Overview:The corporate group consisted of five companies, with the primary entity generating a turnover of ₹145+ crore.The group’s financial structure was complex, requiring extensive financial consolidation and compliance management.Key Responsibilities & Achievements: Standalone & Consolidated Financial Statements:Independently prepared standalone and consolidated financial statements for the entire group.Consolidated multiple Tally data sets into a unified trial balance (₹300+ crore) in Excel.Managed adjustments for differing financial years—Sharjah entities followed a calendar year, while Indian entities followed the financial year. Statutory & Tax Audits:Led the Statutory Audit & Tax Audit processes for all five companies.Drafted audit reports and compliance certificates for various business needs. Complex Asset Depreciation Calculations:Managed ₹50+ crore worth of assets with 1,500+ asset line items in Excel.Ensured accurate depreciation calculations aligned with relevant accounting standards. Intercompany Cross-Transactions & Reconciliation:Identified and matched cross-transactions across multiple entities for financial statement accuracy.Ensured proper intercompany reconciliation to meet audit and compliance requirements. Financial Projections & High-Value Client Interactions:Developed projected financial statements for business planning.Independently liaised with the Chief Accountant & Finance Director to discuss financial reporting and compliance matters.
