Responsibilities Undertaken- Leading customer database discovery and assessment workshops to identify and classify workloads and goals for moving to AWS Cloud databases- Building reusable assets including sales/technical presentations, solution workshops, key win stories, and maintain competitive collateral- Assisting field sales teams on identifying and prioritizing customer opportunities, create messaging and offers and help with agreement progression by mitigating blockers and reducing the time for technical validations- Collaborating with product/solution teams and the solution architecture team to build use case specific assets and provide feedback on product enhancements- Working closely with the partner teams to build specialisation on the AWS Cloud database portfolio, participate in AWS/partner-led customer events and assist BDM, Technical Account Managers and Field Sales in strategic customer opportunities- Engaging in strategic account planning with AWS account teams to promote the adoption of Database Workload Migrations to AWS- Developing working relationships with AWS strategic account teams, leadership, and other internal groups to enhance and advance the sales pipeline and opportunities for Database Workload Migration, providing insights on migration options from both commercial and technical viewpoints- Collaborating with counterpart technical specialists to secure solution assurance approvals for database migrations, considering both commercial and technical aspects- Aiming to streamline, standardize, and scale methods to create new offerings and assist in analyzing Return on Investment (ROI) and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)- Train and mentor AWS account teams on promoting the value of Database Workload Migration in cooperation with Cloud Value Advisors, sharing best practices and increasing strategic engagement with the accounts.
