I am a software engineer at Vanguard, a leading company in the field of financial services, computing, data analytics and machine learning. I am currently pursuing Masters of Computer Science at University of Colorado Boulder. I have a Bachelor\'s Degree in information technology from Federation University Australia. At Vanguard, I am part of the team responsible for developing state-of-the-art technology using Java, Spring Framework, Microservices, AWS, and Kafka. I have proficiency in Java 8+, AWS(Cloudformation, SQS, EKS etc), Python and I am keen on statistical programming and cross-platform development. I have also gained exposure to cutting-edge development technologies, such as Docker, Git, Kubernetes, Ansible, and Jenkins. Some of my achievements include: effectively developing RESTful APIs with Java and Spring and lowering attacks on the database server by 50%, designing containerized web servers, load balancers, and DNS using Docker that minimized the software development life cycle by 20%, and leading a team of software engineering interns by taking key decisions about the software architecture and design principles. I am passionate about learning new skills and technologies, and I have obtained multiple certifications from LinkedIn, such as Learning Ansible, Learning NGINX, and Continuous Delivery with GitLab. I understand the limitation of knowledge and the need for critical thinking and problem-solving.
