I am a graduate researcher and engineer passionate about applying optimization, machine learning, and intelligent systems to solve complex logistical and operational challenges. With over 4 years of combined experience spanning industry and academia, I’ve developed expertise that bridges rigorous research with practical, scalable solutions.Currently pursuing my Master of Applied Science at the University of Waterloo, I focus on adaptive optimization and reinforcement learning for perishable goods logistics—work that has been presented at international conferences like CORS, INFORMS, and Smart Freight Center, and published in respected proceedings. I also filed a patent on intelligent wireless systems for security monitoring.My professional journey includes impactful roles at Samsung, Urban Company, and BYJU’S, where I engineered robust ETL pipelines, built machine learning-driven defect detection and behavioral analytics models, and drove efficiency improvements of up to 37% in logistics and 30% in defect resolution. I’ve designed scalable systems on AWS and Azure, applied advanced software engineering practices like CI/CD, TDD, and modular architecture, and worked hands-on with tools ranging from Spark, Databricks, TensorFlow, and PyTorch to Tableau and Power BI.Beyond technical depth, I enjoy mentoring through my teaching assistantship, where I guide students in machine learning, optimization, and reproducible scientific computing.
