ABOUT CHIRAG SHETH

As an experienced professional, I advise multinational enterprises (MNE) Groups with their international tax and transfer pricing strategies. I support MNE Groups across multiple facets of their transfer pricing life cycle viz. policy determination, policy implementation, operational transfer pricing review, transfer pricing documentation, and dispute resolution. My key experiences and expertise include: • Assisting MNEs in structuring transfer pricing models (India Inbound and Outbound); • Advising MNEs on capital infusion, cash repatriation strategies, and structuring inter-company financing arrangements; • Evaluating alternative business structures/ models from a transfer pricing efficiency/ risk standpoint; • Advising MNEs on operational restructuring and value chain transformation; • Advising MNEs on transfer pricing implications from business and supply chain decisions viz. Transfer of intangibles, centralized procurement hubs. In addition to the above, I’ve prior experience providing ‘customized solutions’ to MNE Groups for their Merger & Acquisitions and international tax strategies. I am a Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and a member of CPA Australia and the Chartered Institute of Taxation (UK). I’ve authored/ co-authored several articles for print/ electronic media and regularly participate as a speaker/ trainer for the seminars conducted by various professional bodies.
