ABOUT CHIRAG SHARMA
I am an undergraduate B.Tech student at IIT Bombay, majoring in Metallurgical Engineering and Materials Science (MEMS), with a passion for software development and product management. My interest in web development, which I pursued early in my academic journey, deepened my enthusiasm for programming. Currently, I serve as the Web Manager for the Sustainability Cell at IIT Bombay, where I lead a team to develop and maintain websites and landing pages for the Cell’s initiatives. During my internship at UnearthAI, an IIT Bombay startup, I gained valuable experience in software development, particularly in building and enhancing software features. This exposure sparked my interest in large language models, which I worked along with and further explored through summer projects. In my early university years, I actively volunteered in institute events, which helped me develop strong communication and management skills. I enjoy ideating and building new things, always eager to learn and explore different areas. Apart from my professional interests, I pursue my passion for art and design by participating in various institute activities. My hobbies also include dancing, and I am an animal lover.
