About Chirag Patel

With over 14 years of experience in the pharmacy and healthcare industry, I am the Chief Operating Officer at Carolina Pharmacy Group (CPG). I have a PharmD and an MBA and use my knowledge and skills in pharmaceutics, healthcare, and business to oversee the operations of 6 retail independent stores and over 60 employees. My core competencies include strategic planning, sales snd marketing, customer service, quality improvement, regulatory compliance, and conflict resolution. I am passionate about providing accessible, affordable, and quality healthcare to our communities on a local but also state and national level. I work with a diverse and talented team of leaders, managers, pharmacists, and technicians to achieve this mission. I am committed to fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and inclusion at CPG, and I support various initiatives and programs that enhance the professional development, well-being, and engagement of our staff. I am involved in numerous philanthropic efforts with various charitable groups including St Jude, Make-A-Wish, LLS, Safe Alliance, A Roof Above, The Children’s Society, and am Chairman of Lucan’s Lions. Recently, I was elected to become an advisory board member for Novant Health’s Hemby Children’s Hospital.
