Experienced Associate Vice President For Student Affairs with a demonstrated history of working in the higher education industry. Recently served at two institutions as Interim Vice President. Skilled in Student Development, Behavioral Intervention, Student Conduct, Title IX, Enrollment Management, Training, Athletics, and Campus Recreation. Strong professional with a Ed.D. focused in Higher Education Administration. Active member of graduate school faculty and currently chairing several dissertation committees.

1. Interim Vice President for Enrollment Management

   Chip is well-known to the CSU community and within the University System of Georgia and brings more than three decades of higher education experience to bear in his new interim capacity. Prior to his current assignment as project director for the USG’s $11.5 million statewide CARES Act Mental Health Initiative, Chip was pivotal in providing university-wide leadership as we responded in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic as the initial chair of our COVID-19 Response Team. During his CSU tenure, he has developed highly effective teams and achieved success as a former head baseball coach and through student-facing responsibilities as the university’s associate vice president for student affairs, dean of students and executive director for enrollment management. Outside his service to CSU, he provided leadership at other University System of Georgia institutions. This includes Savannah State, where he was vice president for enrollment management, and Albany State, where he was vice president for student affairs and enrollment management.
