Despite its size, Wolfe was recently voted #6 as a firm in the prestigious \"Institutional Investor\" 2023 All-America Research Poll.Chip specializes in analyzing the investment cycle, macroeconomic trends, central bank actions, political developments and geopolitical events in order to develop forward-looking buy/sell recommendations for U.S. and global equity markets, sector selection, thematic baskets and quantitative factor performance. While his primary focus is on the U.S. stock market, his research also regularly includes views on rates, credit, currencies and commodities.Prior to joining Wolfe in 2013, Chip worked for UBS Investment Bank, where he was Director of the U.S. Equity Strategy team, as well as the firm’s U.S. Small Cap Strategist. His prior experience also includes roles on the sell-side covering industrial stocks for J.P. Morgan and Bear Stearns, and on the buy-side as a portfolio manager and financial sector analyst for a large Stockholm-based asset manager.Chip earned an MBA with Honors from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and is also a CFA Charterholder and a CPA. He has been quoted in numerous media outlets, including Barron\'s, Bloomberg, Reuters and The Wall Street Journal.
