Key Responsibilities: Help individuals maintain personal hygiene and dignity.Observe and report any changes in physical or mental health to the supervising healthcare provider.Check vital signs such as temperature, pulse, blood pressure, and respiration rates.Offer companionship and empathetic communication to promote emotional well-being.Provide reassurance and create a safe, trusting environment for vulnerable individuals.Help individuals move safely, whether it’s transferring from bed to wheelchair or supporting physical mobility exercises.Ensure safe use of mobility aids like walkers and wheelchairs.Remind or assist with taking prescribed medications (as per the guidelines and under supervision).Encourage individuals to participate in their care and activities to foster self-reliance.Keep living areas clean and organized to reduce safety hazards.Sanitize equipment and maintain infection control standards.Assist with meal preparation, serving, and feeding if necessary.Monitor dietary restrictions and ensure proper hydration.Communicate effectively with nurses, doctors, and other professionals to provide cohesive care.Follow care plans and contribute to updates based on observations.Record care provided and report any incidents, health concerns, or observations accurately.Act as an advocate by identifying risks, ensuring dignity, and supporting their rights and needs.Act quickly and appropriately during medical emergencies, following established protocols.
