As the President & CEO of the DC Chamber of Commerce, I lead an organization that has been an advocate and resource for Washington, D.C.\'s business community for over 85 years. Our goal is to create a vibrant, thriving economy that improves the quality of life for all in the District, establishing mutually beneficial partnerships with business, government, and the community. A proud native of Washington, DC, my career spans strategic leadership roles in the private, public, and nonprofit sectors. Before joining the DC Chamber, I served as the Chief Marketing and Strategic Communications Officer at the Greater Washington Partnership. I collaborated with CEOs and C-suite executives to identify challenges and offer real solutions to the most critical issues stretching from Baltimore to Richmond. Previously, as Senior Vice President at Events DC, I spearheaded initiatives that elevated D.C.’s position as a premier destination for conventions, hospitality, sports, and entertainment. From overseeing recovery-focused marketing efforts post-pandemic to driving iconic projects like the Marriott Marquis Washington DC hotel and the Entertainment and Sports Arena opening, I led efforts that delivered significant economic impact and enhanced the city’s global profile.I’ve earned a reputation for translating complex challenges into actionable strategies throughout my career. Whether leading or rebranding organizations, launching new initiatives, or fostering public-private partnerships, I thrive in environments that require innovation, collaboration, and measurable results.
