ABOUT CHINWUDE NWANA

I am a tenacious and self-motivated individual with deep passions for, and a continuously growing understanding of international development with a focus on global health. I am driven by impactful work which has led me to acquire technical and soft skills in educational and professional settings that bolster my capabilities for solving the world’s problems. Currently, I am an MPA in Development Practice candidate at the Columbia University School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA). My professional background includes the provision of financial risk services to clients in the banking and insurance ecosystem, of economic consulting services for public sector clients and of communication services to the leading organization in environmental health. I have also designed and/or implemented impact projects in the public health and education sector which improved healthcare coverage and digital literacy for vulnerable populations. I possess strong skills in data analysis, research and synthesis to produce insightful findings and increase efficiency in my work and in client’s processes. I also have a knack for grant writing and creating partnerships that move projects forward. I am a collaborator and a compassionate leader who loves to influence my team to produce their best work.
