Built multiple Market Mix Models from scratch, following a structural approach to modelling. This involved an initial EDA (Exploratory Data Analysis) stage, followed by Unobserved Components Modelling (UCM) and finally regression.• Each model was built using multi-stage linear regression and stringent statistical guardrails to ensure model robustness. This involved optimizing & tweaking each model for adequate ranges of R-square, MAPE, DW, p-values, VIF and spend coverage.• Incorporated Gradient Descent based algorithm to break down marketing spends on various granularity levels, as well as a Bayesian Belief Network (BBN) to identify synergies between marketing channels.• Leveraged compute capabilites of AWS SageMaker and Amazon S3 to speed up model development and facilitate collaboration.
