About Chinmayee Bhanu
In 2024, I decided to expand my horizons and manage software engineers along with being one & it\'s been an eye-opening journey since.While I was able to leverage my 5+ years of experience building & operating massive distributed storage systems (which served trillions of objects and billions of requests per second), what really helped was my hidden talent of giving unsolicited advice which, in turns out, is crucial to operate as a leader and grow the amazing talent my engineers have! I remain spirited about challenges and I work diligently & efficiently towards my goals.On the side, I continue to be passionate about applied research in the areas of Computer Vision, Robotics and Machine Learning. It\'s exciting times to see the intersection with my ongoing work on highly available, durable and low latency storage systems.It is my belief that the future of any country depends on the education imparted to its most energetic demographic i.e. their children. So I urge everyone to do something about it! P.S. I also love reading fiction, classical music & experimental theatre.
