Responsible for the IT/OT System upgradation in Service Engineering department- Leading system, network, and cybersecurity implementations in HVDC projects- Building complete infrastructure of networks and systems to support operations- Ensuring systems and networks contain defined levels of cybersecurity- Participating in Cybersecurity assessments and security Patch Management- Reviewing Network equipment (firewalls, switches, GPS clocks) and redundant network designs and protocols- Addressing issues for Microsoft client and server operating systems (virtual and bare metal)- Assign and review of Active Directory and the different roles, integration with third-party devices and appliances, databases and high-availability solutions- Review of Intrusion detection systems, security information event monitoring, application control and other Security-relevant systems- Work together with our customers, both internally and externally, to ensure our delivery is according to their requirements and standards- Collaborating and networking with engineering colleagues, sharing best practice across different projects and disciplines- Travelling and supporting within Germany and abroad to address issues in the HVDC stations- Living in Hitachi Energy´s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for my own actions while caring for my colleagues and the business.
