Coordinate logistics and supply chain operations including strategic sourcing (cost, quality, and schedule), operational excellence through vendor SLA and freight saving initiatives, inventory management, supplier quality engineering, and rollout of specialized logistics programs • Organize logistics activities including obtaining shipment rates, negotiating with logistics service providers, selecting 3PL partners, determining the cost-effective route of shipments, freight forwarding, tracking and expediting shipments, and solving any discrepancy in quality, quantity, and schedule• Coordinate and track all shipments, and supply, maintained shipping paperwork including BOL’s, POD’s, Purchase Orders (PO)• Verify, record, and reconcile inventory and receiving transactions for all clients within the facility; validate and perform regular cycle counts to confirm stock availabilities; investigate inventory discrepancies with management via order history and audit reports.• Communicate dispatch instructions to a team of drivers along with any issues or schedules of importance to ensure route efficiency and maximize deliveries. Managed fleet to meet delivery expectations and customer’s requests• Develop Performance Metrics Systems (KPI\'s) and made recommendations for risk reductions and quality/ cost improvements establishing tracking on-time performance, best-in-class service, optimization of routing, and reducing spend/emissions• Maintain supplier-specific information in the company’s system by entering and ensuring the accuracy of suppliers pricing, contact, and special requirements
