About Chinmay Kamat
Architecture is a form of human expression, portraying the psyche of the Designer. In my 5 years of being a professional in this field, I’ve discovered it to be a great piece of human equation, which has the power to shape and build a person’s psychological mindset. Envisaging architecture with a psychological lens is something that I like to design through. Exemplary conceptual designing and contextual sensitivity with a complimenting landscape, is the way of designing I pursue.

Worked on large scale International Healthcare/ Retail projects for both Architecture & Interior design scopes.• Worked on the schematic design and design development phases, for a big international retail brand, for their projects across Asia-pacific region i.e. South Korea, Indonesia, Taiwan, etc.• Worked on design/ construction development phases, for a multi-billion dollar company in the healthcare space; for their projects pan-USA.• Led and assisted the production of Architectural and Engineering documentation.• Collaboration with various consultants and MEPF team(s) for smooth progression and project alignment.• Worked closely with the USA counterpart through various stages of the projects, i.e. Design development, Survey and Test fit verification, coordination across multiple agencies, production of permit set & detailed working drawing for accurate execution on sites, and so on.• Currently, leading and assisting a team of Architects through the schematic and design development phases, for a renowned International chain of restaurants; for their restaurants across West and South of India.
