As a Software Developer Engineer 2 at Expedia Group, I work with the Activities team that manages the end-to-end development of the activities line of business. I use my skills in Java, Scala, Spark, and AWS to create scalable and reliable solutions that enhance the user experience and drive revenue growth.Previously, I was part of the Competitive Intelligence (CI) team that provided on-demand and real-time data to analysts, market managers, and hotel partners on Expedia Partner Central (EPC). I developed a cloud-based solution that reprocessed billions of scrapes of raw historical data in minutes, providing actionable insights into Expedia\'s competitive landscape. I also worked on distributed computing that involved writing complex SQL code using Scala with Spark as the compute engine.I graduated with a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Company Science from Amity University Noida in 2020. During my studies, I gained certifications in Full Stack Web Development and Data Structures and Algorithms from Coding Elements. I also participated in competitive programming contests and developed web applications using Firebase, jQuery, HTML, and Node.js.I am passionate about learning new technologies and solving challenging problems.
