Develop a procedure to investigate a novel biomimetic scaffold that support complex ligament regeneration (Synthetic anterior cruciate ligament). • Designed and carried out an investigation on a novel chelation therapy involving dimercaprol agent for the treatment of arthroplasty related metallosis (arthroplasty wear and corrosion complication).• Designed a chronic rat model for the evaluation of arthroplasty related metallosis using cobalt ions and particles encapsulated in PLGA microsphere• Designed a slow release/long lasting treatment for arthroplasty related metallosis using BAL-HA encapsulated in PLGA microsphere
