I collaborate closely with leaders in all areas of the business, and I work to align the engineering team to accelerate key company initiatives. My goal is to scale our team, process, and technology to serve our customers efficiently. I have over 20 years of experience in the technology industry, working with hypergrowth startups and public companies like Dave, Salesforce, FirstRain, and Lending Club. I’ve spent much of my career building teams and products and pushing companies to the next level. I’ve scaled engineering organizations 10x and driven step-function improvements in efficiency, speed, and quality of front and back-end experiences. At Flexport, as just one example, I scaled the tech team from 40 to 400 and expanded the tech group from one site to five tech hubs worldwide, including San Francisco, Shenzhen, Chicago, Seattle, and Amsterdam.Combining my previous experiences with those of the leadership team here at Velocity Global will allow us to push our systems into the next level of growth.Outside of work, I’m very curious about what’s out there. I ran marathons on all seven continents, dove around icebergs in the Arctic Circle, flew hang-gliding, and climbed Mt. Everest Base Camp and Mt. Kilimanjaro. Giving back is very important to my family. We worked with a non-profit organization and built schools in Nepal, Senegal, and Guatemala.
