Former Logistic officer for the 5th Signal Command comprised of Military, Government Service, and contracted personnel. Primary advisor to the Deputy Chief of Staff G4, Assistance Deputy Chief of Staff G4, Supply and Services Division Chief G4, Commanders and their staffs on all property book, Class VII, and logistical matters for both organization and installation property for 27 primary hand receipt holders valued in excess of $900 million. Coordinate with HQDA to produce critical equipment requirements through the Operational Needs Statement process ensuring the highest combat equipment effectiveness within the Command. Enforces supply discipline as the Command Supply Discipline monitor and the Command Property Accounting Technician. Directly supervises three senior Noncommissioned Officers and provides guidance and oversight for fourteen Property Book Officers. SUPERVISION & LEADERSHIP: Manage all aspects of a 30-member team with responsibility for logistics activities within the European Signal Command in support of three combatant commands, Supreme Headquarters Allies Europe, and U.S. Army Europe. Oversee personnel, assignments, and schedules. Direct work priorities and project execution through subordinate supervisors. LOGISTICS SYSTEMS EXPERTISE: Oversee the fielding of Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-A) for all European signal organizations. Ensure that Supply Support Activity (SSA) meets pre-fielding requirements and milestones across all project phases for transition to GCSS-A. Use Property Book Unit Supply, Enhanced (PBUSE) reports to determine equipment on-hand statuses and achieve higher unit readiness rates. Request and analyze reports from the Standard Army Retail Supply System (SARSS) and the Standard Army Maintenance System-Enhanced (SAMS-E) to determine equipment and supply readiness.
