I am Chidimma Juliet Okpalaima, a Senior Software Engineer with over eight years of experience encompassing the entire software development lifecycle. I earned my Bachelor\'s degree in Electronic and Computer Engineering from Nnamdi Azikiwe University.Throughout my career, I\'ve honed a wide array of tech skills, including backend development, system design, troubleshooting, testing and system scaling. I am mostly proficient in TypeScript, Node.js, REST API, and have deep expertise in leveraging various AWS stacks, such as Appsync, Cognito, API Gateways, SNS, SQS, Canaries, Lambda, Batch, Cloudwatch, Cloudformation and CDK. Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible and other orchestration tools are not alien to me.I am well-versed in designing and managing event-driven, decoupled, and resilient systems. My background in database management spans across systems like PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB and MongoDB. As well as good understanding of Graph and time-series databases.In the realm of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), I have cultivated a robust skill set that ensures streamlined and efficient development processes. Leveraging tools such as GitHub Action, Code Commit, Code Deploy, and Code Pipeline, I\'ve consistently ensured rapid, reliable, and automated deployments in various projects. I\'m adept at monitoring and maintaining the health of systems post-deployment. Using tools like Datadog, New Relic, Prometheus, and Grafana. I\'ve been able to proactively identify, troubleshoot, and address system anomalies, ensuring optimal system performance and uptime. This combination of CI/CD and monitoring expertise has been instrumental in minimising disruptions, maximising efficiency, and ensuring a seamless user experience across all projects I\'ve been involved in.My career has led me to work with companies like Choco Communications, where I was instrumental in infrastructure design and roadmap formulation. At Mobimeo, I collaborated with the SPAM team, ensuring our solutions were efficient and user-centric. My role at Tripp Technologies allowed me to be part of a dynamic team that launched a cutting-edge ride-sharing app. Furthermore, at Andela, I contributed to the creation of a performance evaluation system that streamlined internal processes.In addition to my technical capabilities, I pride myself on my soft skills such as effective communication, leadership, and mentoring. These skills, coupled with my technical expertise, have enabled me to navigate complex projects and foster collaborative environments.
