Innovative scientist with 15+ years of experience in Biological Sciences, Molecular Biology, Cellular & Mice Genetics, Neuroscience, and cell based assay development. I am passionate about scientific discovery and developing new and improved methods for understanding biological systems. In my current position, I developed lenti-and adenoviral vector delivery systems to engineer multiple human and mammalian cell lines as circadian clock reporters model systems. The resulting stable cell lines allow for real-time in vitro monitoring of circadian dynamics in high-throughput format. This data was instrumental to award $5 million grant for five years.My expertise includes cell culture systems and animal models to delineate molecular mechanisms. I have extensive experience with neurobiology, molecular biology and biochemistry methods such as molecular cloning, recombinant protein purification, qRT- PCR, ELISA development, flow cytometry, FACS, recombinant DNA techniques, high-throughput screening using genetic and chemical libraries, developing bioluminescence reporter cell lines, designing and employing a library of shRNA and siRNA, designing and employing CRISPR/Cas9 tool to generate knockout cell lines, cell based assays, gene therapy, and generation of mammalian primary cell lines (MEFs and tail fibroblasts).
