About Chichester Doretha

I have been serving North Carolina Wesleyan College in various capacities since joining the staff in the year of and the Rocky Mount area many years prior. I came to Wesleyan as Facilities Coordinator and Informational Specialist. Later I accepted a position in the office of Adult Professional Studies as Administrative Assistant and for the last few years, serving as Admissions Representative and Recruiter for the Rocky Mount campus. Also, I volunteer as Vice President for Fundraising with ALDH, Adult Learning Disabled and Handicapped a non –profit organization in my community and Director of Votre Vu Skin Care sales.Prior to serving the college I worked thirteen years with Schlage Lock Co, in the Receiving & Purchasing, Benefits Specialist and Documentation Coordinator for Abbott Laboratories in Rocky Mount, NC and many years in Richmond VA with Tuckahoe YMCA. One of my special qualities are that I have a deep compassion and dedication for student approach. I take pride in helping students by listening to their needs, finding ways to make their goals achievable at NCWC and with others that crosses my path. I never takes for granted the trust that people place in me. Aside from NCWC, some of my other aspirations, you will find me at different functions, singing, playing the piano and spending time with family. I have a smile as friendly as anyone would want to see, a great sense of humor and genuine concern for others just to name a few of my trademarks.
