ABOUT CHIBUNDU AWANDU

As a full-stack developer with a passion for AI and machine learning, I create applications that solve real-world problems using cutting-edge technologies. I have completed the Machine Learning Foundations Course at Cornell Tech as a Break Through Tech Fellow, a program that empowers women and underrepresented groups in technology. I gained comprehensive knowledge and skills in machine learning principles and tools, such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and sci-kit-learn. I am currently working on a three-month AI Studio Project at Planned Parenthood, where I use machine learning and NLP techniques to analyze and improve health outcomes for women and girls.I have also gained valuable industry experience as a SWE intern at Splunk, where I designed and implemented a custom Puppet Type and Provider to manage log levels via API calls, enhancing system security and performance. I worked with a talented and diverse team of engineers, designers, and product managers, and contributed to the full development cycle, from ideation to deployment. I am pursuing a bachelor\'s degree in computer engineering at Bethune-Cookman University, where I have developed a diverse skill set in programming languages, frameworks, and databases, such as Node.js, MongoDB, C#, and SQL. I am eager to continue to grow and make a difference in my field, and I am looking for entry-level SWE opportunities that align with my values, motivations, and goals.
