ABOUT CHIARA GIARRIZZO
I don’t really believe in bios made of titles only. I believe in people, choices, and the path that brings you where you are.So here’s my story:I have a degree in Robotic Engineering. I usually mention it only when someone assumes I lack technical depth because I’m a woman in tech. Otherwise, I genuinely forget about it.When I was 23 years old I founded a startup. It didn’t go far, mostly because not everyone was ready to take the leap. That’s where I learned one of my core beliefs: team really is everything.I then spent several years in corporate environments like ABB and Amazon, where I built strong product foundations and learned what structure, scale, and operational excellence really mean. Over time, though, I realized that while those environments taught me how to build at scale, they left little room for why I was building. That’s what brought me into the startup world: the passion, intention, and belief I see in founders’ eyes. I’ve led product and growth for startups like Pausetiv, Cassandra, iStory, and Empethy, and I’m also a mentor for startup at PoliHub. Today, I help early-stage startup founders bring structure, focus, and a steady mindset, so teams can build what truly matters. Along the way, I love playing with AI and automation, nurturing my nerdy engineering side. When I’m not glued to my laptop, you’ll find me practicing yoga, walking my dog, or surfing somewhere remote.
