ABOUT CHIARA PONTILLO
After completing a Bachelor\'s degree in International Relations and Diplomatic Affairs, a first Master in Local and Global Development and a second one in Human Development and Food Security, from 2018 to 2023 I worked as Research Manager at the University of Bologna, in charge supporting the design of Horizon Europe proposals in the field of bioeconomy, food security and citizen science. From 2023 I am Technical Officer at the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS), working at the Rural Development and Food Security office based in Rome. In this role, I am in charge of supporting field offices in projects\' formulation and management phases, as well as monitoring development initiatives in the field of food security through the adoption of a result-based management approach. I act as contact person for the agreement between AICS and the Milan Urban Food Policy Pact (MUFPP) by facilitating linkages among AICS field offices and MUFPP signatory cities, supporting the organisation of food policy-related trainings and events, and facilitating knowledge sharing opportunities.
