ABOUT CHIARA FRANK
Hi! My name is Chiara Frank and I am a passionate and driven individual with a strong background in neuroscience, mental health advocacy, and public policy. Currently a senior at UCLA studying Neuroscience and Education Studies, I am exploring how to combine my interests in law, public health, and education policy to create lasting change in communities. Specifically, how to use neuroscience to shape effect educational programming as well! Currently, I serve on the UCLA Undergraduate Association Council as the Student Wellness Commissioner, leading wellness initiatives for our student body, collaborate with campus health-related groups to promote health literacy, well-being, and equity on campus. I am particularly interested in pursuing a career at the intersection of law and public policy, where I can advocate for mental health reform, healthcare access, and educational equity. I am drawn to how legal frameworks can be used to address systemic challenges and create impactful solutions for vulnerable communities. I’m excited to continue building a career where I can use both my scientific background and legal expertise to drive meaningful change. As I navigate my next steps, I’m looking for opportunities that combine my passion for public service, my academic background in science, and my desire to engage with diverse communities to tackle issues surrounding mental health, policy, and law. Excited to connect!
