About Wen Chen
I am a JD MAcc candidate at BYU Marriott School. I have learned various skills such as SQL, Microsoft Excel, Tableau, and Visual Basic Applications. I have also participated in the BYU Tax Policy Club Case Competition, where I won the second place and received an invitation to Washington D.C. I am excited to continue to receive more exposure to the world and the industry of accounting, as I was a summer 2024 core tax intern at BDO and I am currently a tax intern at Deloitte. My goal is to become a tax professional who can deliver high-quality services and solutions to clients, while also contributing to the community and the society. As a Resident Assistant at Brigham Young University, I overlooked over 40+ residents, coordinated with housing managers and BYU on-campus resources, and organized events to accommodate residents’ need to adjust to the environment. I also mentored freshmen and guided them through hardships, demonstrating my skills in leadership, communication, and customer service
