I am a leader in PwC\'s FS Reg Strategy & Compliance team with a focus on 1st & 2nd Line testing and monitoring (T&M) program transformation and tech-enablement. I work mainly with large and midsize banks, consulting and supporting the execution of my clients\' 1st & 2nd Line testing program strategies. I specialize in enterprise risk management (ERM); regulatory compliance; Process, Risk, and Control Inventory (PRCI) design and assessment; internal controls, testing (controls and outcomes-based) and monitoring. I am passionate about driving sustainable value in my clients\' T&M programs, supporting them to not only reduce costs and inefficiencies, but also increase risk coverage through pragmatic transformation of their current state. The three pillars of T&M program transformation I focus in delivering are: 1) Centralized testing utilities (CTU): Standardizing T&M under one PRCI taxonomy and testing methodology, reducing the number of required resources, and producing valuable results through a “test once, rely many” approach2) Outcomes-based testing (OBT): With a foundation of an effectively designed control environment, evolving beyond solely control testing, to measure actual performance against the achievement of defined objectives3) Technology enablement across the risk management life cycle: Driving greater coverage and insights into the higher risk areas that matter most (e.g, through the optimization of T&M program operations and infrastructure, testing automation, real-time monitoring, dynamic visualization/reporting to facilitate decision-making, and integrated risk management powered by GenAI).
