About Chhaya Choudhary

10+ years experienced software engineer with a demonstrated history of working in the computer software industry. Skilled in Python, ML and Data Science technologies. I have master\'s degree in Computer Science (Specialization in Data Science) from University of Washington and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. Currently, I am working as a Sr. Staff Machine Learning Engineer at Zscaler where I work on end-to-end pipeline development for ML recommendations feature for Zscaler’s Zero-Trust Micro Segmentation (ZMS) which is part of Zscaler Private Access (ZPA). Before joining Zscaler, I worked at Infoblox where I worked on challenging data problems involving malware detection and classification using Machine Learning and Deep Learning techniques. I also worked on data exploration, data cleaning, feature engineering, and model evaluation. I have multiple accepted publications in the field of cybersecurity using AI/ML. For my master\'s thesis, I worked on evaluating state-of-the-art DGA classifiers against adversarial examples using Autoencoders and Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs). Working on hard and challenging problems involving complex structured/unstructured data excites me. I want to be part of the community which can help solve some of the toughest challenges of humanity like research involving cybersecurity, healthcare, autonomous driving, etc. I love to explore/investigate patterns in the data. My continuous learning attitude, curiosity, and my skillset engage me in this continuously evolving field with great excitement. I am looking forward to my exciting journey as a successful data scientist. I am an enthusiastic person and always curious to learn. I strongly believe in collaboration. I received USENIX’18 grant as a student. I am also a member of Society of Women Engineers, Women in Data Science, ACT-W conference, etc. I also attended Grace Hopper Celebration in Houston in 2018 and had an unforgettable & wonderful experience.
