I’m a Diploma Engineer Trainee (DET) at Lloyd Metals, working in the mining and metallurgical industry with hands-on experience in underground and open-cast operations. Having completed my Diploma in Mining Engineering, I’ve developed strong technical knowledge in production, safety, and field operations — from explosive handling and depillaring methods to machine shift tracking and equipment maintenance.During my apprentice training at WCL, I gained in-depth understanding of underground systems such as sand stowing, chair lift manriding, and water pumping.
