About Cheyne B. Sorensen

Born and raised in the Pacific NW. I graduated from the University of Oregon in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science in Economics, after which I began my career in the financial industry with a small investment firm in the Portland-area. In 2010 I earned my Life & Health Insurance License in the State of Oregon, and passed the Series 65 Uniform Securities Law Exam. In 2017 I became a CFA Charter Holder and am a member of the Portland CFA Society.The invaluable journey as a CFA Candidate has formed the basis of my financial expertise while connecting me with other talented, driven, moral and inspiring people.Ultimately, my goal is becoming an investment strategy manager where I would assist his employer in achieving optimized, creative, and incremental investment strategies to deliver superior outcomes for their clients. Whether it\'s public markets, private equity, or somewhere in between, the analytical valuation discovery process is what inspires me. Through collaboration and specialization I\'m confident that those with which I surround myself will be elevated by our different talents and temperaments.
