About Cheyenne Petersen
I graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in May 2022 with a major in Psychology and a minor in Kinesiology, focused on Exercise Psychology and Health Behavior. After graduating from UIUC, I moved to Seattle to start a career as a Technical Recruiter at Amazon. In May 2023, I returned to my original goal of a career in the mental health field and worked as a Pediatric Mental Health Specialist on the Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine Unit at Seattle Children’s Hospital for 1.5 years. Currently, I\'m working as a Social Service Specialist, supporting mental health and behavioral health patients in the Emergency Department at Seattle Children\'s Hospital. I hope to pursue psychology graduate school in the future to continue my research interests and passion for supporting mental healthcare!
