ABOUT CHEYENNE INMAN
I knew that I wanted to work in Human Resources since I was in high school. Friends and colleagues are often surprised when they hear me say that. The natural, follow-up question that I receive is “Why?” I am passionate about my career in Human Resources because my career allows me to go above and beyond for each employee that I interact with. I have the ability to make an impact on employees and how they feel about their work life. I strive to listen and connect with everyone so that they feel heard, and I will work to find a solution for any obstacle that they may face. I am so grateful for the experiences that I had to learn and grow as a professional while studying Business Administration with a minor in Human Resources at Utah State University. The resources that they invested in me have assisted me along the way as I navigate a career in HR. After I graduated from Utah State, I worked in employee benefits and FMLA for a couple of years before taking a position as a recruiter for the Utah Jazz. This position helped me increase my skillset in HR by managing the full-cycle recruiting process for the Vivint Arena sector of the company. After working as a recruiter for seven months, I was promoted to a People & Culture Generalist role, My main responsibilities are the corporate recruiting and onboarding process with the Utah Jazz. On top of that, I assist in managing employee relations and workers\' compensation claims.
