ABOUT CHET L.

With over 10 years of experience in IT Management, I am currently the Director of IT and Administration at Center for the Pacific Asian Family (CPAF), a nonprofit organization that provides services and advocacy for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault in the Asian and Pacific Islander communities. In this role, I oversee the IT infrastructure, security, and operations of the organization, as well as the administrative functions such as HR, and Operations. I am responsible for developing and implementing IT strategies, policies, and procedures that align with the organization\'s mission, vision, and goals. I also manage a team of IT and administrative staff, and collaborate with other directors and managers to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of services and programs. Some of my achievements include leading the migration of the organization\'s data and systems to the cloud, enhancing the IT security and compliance, and streamlining the administrative processes and workflows. I hold the Casper Certified Technician, Casper Certified Administrator, and Certified JSS Administrator certifications, and have skills in process improvement, IT management, and business analysis. Prior to joining CPAF, I was the Director of Systems Operations at Universal Music Group, where I represented the business unit IT needs and concerns to the corporate IT, and coordinated and managed the IT strategy for the business unit operations. I am passionate about using technology and administration to support and empower the nonprofit sector, and I am always eager to learn new skills and tools that can help me achieve this goal. I value collaboration, innovation, and diversity, and I enjoy working with a team of dedicated and compassionate professionals who share the same vision and values.
