ABOUT CHETNA RUDRAPATNA

I have been in the Quality Engineering space in the Medical Device industry for 5+ years. I graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas with a Master\'s degree in Biomedical Engineering. I have had varied experiences, at companies big and small, mainly because I was contracting for a while in the initial years of my career. I began my journey with an internship at Siemens in India. Another internship at the Texas Biomedical Device Center gave me the strongest foundation to kickstart my career. After that, I got an opportunity to work as a Validation Engineer for Abbott, in the Vascular division - a pioneer/ leader in this domain. I learned a lot in the next fast-paced segment of my journey at Henry Schein, also a highly successful organization, as a Quality Engineer. I got to manage several processes with independence and guidance at the same time. After that, I got an opportunity to work for my (possibly everybody\'s) dream company - Google in their Fitbit division as a Technical Program Manager. Surrounded by highly capable and intelligent individuals, I was able to understand how the med tech world functions and how an ideal organization operation should be. The next company I got the chance to be a part of needs no introduction as it\'s a med device giant - Medtronic. It truly has the best standards in place. I worked in their ENT and Diabetes units, both proving to be highly fruitful in contributing to my learning and career growth. My most recent (present) experience is with Motorola Solutions. Since it\'s the physical security & access control space, it\'s completely different from medical devices/ healthcare. Lots of challenges to navigate through when it comes to setting up hardware and process quality systems.Apart from my professional and academic background, my communication skills, attention to detail and adaptability enable me to work well and contribute to any organization effectively.
