Simulated and validated GaN-based 650 V → 25 V DC–DC converters in LTspice and on hardware boards, analyzing switching transients, conduction/thermal losses, and efficiency under high-voltage conditions through both simulation and lab measurements.Engineered Ga₂O₃ power transistors using Synopsys Sentaurus TCAD, performing process and device simulations to optimize channel geometry, breakdown voltage, leakage, and radiation tolerance, and providing fabrication and layout guidance.Designed next-generation Ga₂O₃-based DC–DC converters with custom gate-driver circuits, simulated switching and EMI behavior, and planned hardware prototyping to improve power density and reliability beyond GaN implementations.Developing a cryogenic pump inverter system with Ga₂O₃ devices and FPGA-implemented FOC (Verilog RTL) to drive a REBCO-coil motor, integrating real-time sensor feedback for adaptive switching and precise cryogenic control.Collaborating with semiconductor foundries and calibration vendors for Ga₂O₃ MOSFET IC fabrication quotes, process validation, and component sourcing, ensuring design-to-manufacturing alignment and test readiness.
