I was born in Paris, France and I spent my childhood years in France, Sri Lanka and Norway. I completed high school in Norway and moved to the U.S where I pursued my undergraduate/graduate studies. My experience in accounting and finance spans over 20 years. Through my work experiences and my education that consists of a Master\'s degree (MS) in Finance and a Bachelor\'s Degree (Double major: Accounting and Economics)- I am able to make quick, well-formed decisions as issues and problems arise. Additionally, my education in three continents has enabled me to build the self-confidence, cross-cultural communication skills, language skills and the ability to deal effectively with many different situations and diverse personalities from different walks of life; attributes that are important to be an effective team player and business leader. I am driven and have a deep passion to learn new things and to find opportunities to improve, grow and make a difference.I possess advanced knowledge in OneStream, HyperionEssbase, Hyperion Enterprise, Hyperion Financial Management, SAP, JD Edwards, Dataworks, EM10 Macola and Mitchell Humphrey Accounting Software and have advanced knowledge and experience in Excel using PivotTables, VLOOKUP and various other functions and formulas and data tables on a daily basis.Fluent in English, Sinhalese, Conversational French and Norwegian.
